DeFi lending protocol Ionic Protocol announces shutdown, users need to withdraw funds promptly
BlockBeats News, June 18 — DeFi lending protocol Ionic Protocol posted on X that, due to the continuing expansion of the impact from a security vulnerability incident that occurred in 2025, the project has been forced to immediately halt all operations, and all users need to withdraw their assets from its various deployments as soon as possible.
Ionic Protocol added that the shutdown decision was “no other choice,” and the relevant services have now entered the termination process.
