Golden Finance reports that on June 18th, Wednesday, the Federal Reserve leaned hawkish in its interest rate decision, with the three major U.S. stock indices closing lower across the board. The Dow initially fell 0.97%, the S&P 500 dropped 1.2%, and the Nasdaq declined 1.3%. SpaceX (SPCX.O) fell 5%, Nvidia (NVDA.O) decreased 1%, and Western Digital (WDC.O) rose 4%.
