Federal Reserve Chair Waller: The Federal Reserve still has some work to do in curbing inflation

Golden Finance reports that on June 18, Federal Reserve Chair Woqe did not provide forward guidance at a press conference. However, he acknowledged that he has heard remarks from FOMC members, saying that they still have some work to do in “maintaining price stability.” When discussing the impact of artificial intelligence, Woqe said that this new technology could become the most significant change he has experienced in the economic field since he came of age—where both opportunities and risks coexist. Woqe said, “If we do our job properly, we can ensure strong economic growth, alongside low prices and strong employment, that do not conflict with each other.”
