Trump says U.S. troops will remain stationed in the Gulf for some time

Golden Finance reports that on June 18th, after completing the G7 summit, U.S. President Trump arrived in Paris and gave an interview at the airport, stating that the U.S. military will "remain stationed in the Gulf region for a while longer." Regarding the 60-day negotiation period following the signing of the memorandum of understanding between the U.S. and Iran to reach a final agreement, Trump said that the 60 days are not a "hard deadline" for reaching the final deal. Trump also stated that if other countries have ballistic missiles, then preventing Iran from possessing ballistic missiles would be "a bit unfair." According to the content of the Iran-U.S. memorandum of understanding previously disclosed by Iran, the subsequent 60-day negotiations will not involve Iran's missile program.
