$SOL ⚽ FIFA Is Using Avalanche Blockchain for the 2026 World Cup Ticketing System #FIFA is integrating Avalanche blockchain technology into its new World Cup 2026 ticket distribution system to reduce ticket bots, fake tickets, and black-market scalping.
🔸 Instead of selling tickets directly at first, FIFA issues Right-To-Buy (RTB) passes through the FIFA Collect platform.
Fans holding RTBs receive priority access to purchase tickets before public sales begin. These RTBs can also be traded or transferred on secondary markets.
🔸 The entire process is recorded on the Avalanche blockchain, allowing FIFA to verify ownership transparently while reducing fraud and counterfeit ticket sales.
📊 So far:
• More than 100,000 RTBs have already been issued
• Combined trading volume of RTBs and RTTs has surpassed $25 million
This is another major example of blockchain moving beyond speculation and into real-world infrastructure at global scale.
