Federal Reserve Chair Powell: No one at the Fed wants to raise interest rates today

Golden Finance reports that on June 18, Federal Reserve Chair Woshr spoke at a press conference and said that no one at the Federal Reserve wants to raise interest rates in the short term. In response to a question about an implication that current data would support a rate hike, Woshr said, “The judgment you expressed is not endorsed by any of the 19 participants present. We will meet again in six weeks to revisit this issue.”
