Golden Finance reported that on June 18, Federal Reserve Chair Wash said that most of the data used by the Federal Reserve relies on outdated survey methods. If the Federal Reserve data working group has suggestions on how to improve official statistics, he will be open to them. Some of the economic data the Federal Reserve receives may just be echoes of the past. He is open to new data sources.
