The Federal Reserve has lowered the median forecast for U.S. GDP growth in 2026 from 2.4% to 2.2%.

Golden Finance reports that on June 18, the Federal Reserve adjusted the median forecast for U.S. GDP growth from 2026 to 2028 to 2.2%, 2.3%, and 2.2%, respectively, compared to March's forecasts of 2.4%, 2.3%, and 2.1%.
They also adjusted the median forecast for PCE inflation from 2026 to 2028 to 3.6%, 2.3%, and 2.0%, compared to March's forecasts of 2.7%, 2.2%, and 2.0%.
Additionally, the median forecast for core PCE inflation from 2026 to 2028 was revised to 3.3%, 2.5%, and 2.1%, versus March's forecasts of 2.7%, 2.2%, and 2.0%.
