U.S. stock futures rise before the market open, semiconductor stocks mostly up, Intel up nearly 9%

Golden Finance reports that in the pre-market trading of U.S. stocks, semiconductor stocks surged, with Intel rising nearly 9%. Earlier, U.S. President Trump announced that Apple and Intel reached a partnership. Micron Technology rose over 4%, AMD increased nearly 3%, Western Digital and ARM rose nearly 5%, and ASML gained nearly 3%. The optical communication sector also rose, with Mavenir Technologies up nearly 4%, Corning up nearly 3%, and Credo rising over 3%.
