BlackRock BITA Launch and Metaplanet ¥2.1B Deal Expand Bitcoin Yield Products

BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Premium Income ETF is set to begin trading on Nasdaq on June 16, while Metaplanet signed a ¥2.1 billion deal to acquire Siiibo Securities. BITA primarily sells call options on IBIT shares, with a target notional range of 25% to 35% of net asset value. Metaplanet says planned BTC-linked bonds could follow Siiibo's subsidiary conversion.
