"More terrifying than being poor is that many people suddenly don't know how to live."

Many people say that the current situation is just due to the poor overall environment.
But if it's just about lacking money, people should live through winter like animals: spend less, save more, and stop fussing.
But the reality is exactly the opposite.
More and more people are anxious, irritable, attacking each other, as if they are full of energy but don't know where to use it.
The problem may not be poverty, but losing direction.
In the past few decades, we believed in a set of rules: study, work, buy a house, get married; the hardships of today would turn into sweetness tomorrow.
This set of rules may not be perfect, but at least it was stable.
Now, the most uncomfortable part is that the old rules haven't officially ended, but they are becoming less effective; the new rules have already started, but no one is telling you the answer.
So many people begin to doubt:
Is it because I haven't worked hard enough, or has effort itself become ineffective?
Is it because I lack ability, or has the track changed?
When a person doubts themselves, it's anxiety; when a group of people doubt themselves at the same time, it's the mood of the era.
So today’s biggest crisis is not income decline, but a loss of sense of purpose.
People who can't solve all problems will break down.
Those who accept that rules are changing have a chance to survive.
The most exhausted are those who lose their way.
And those who can hold onto themselves in chaos often wait for a new map to appear.
