Deep Tide TechFlow News, June 18 — According to Reuters, the French cybersecurity agency ANSSI announced that it will stop certifying security products that do not have quantum-resistant encryption capabilities starting in 2027, and recommends that companies only purchase quantum-safe products by 2030 at the latest. Since ANSSI certification is an important prerequisite for French government agencies and critical infrastructure to adopt related products, this move will effectively accelerate the withdrawal of traditional encryption systems from key sectors.

ANSSI stated that this move aims to address the "now collecting, decrypting in the future" risk, meaning attackers may first store encrypted data and then decrypt it once quantum computing capabilities mature. Industry insiders point out that sectors such as banking and public services have already begun assessing system upgrade needs, and the relevant market size is expected to expand significantly. The report also mentions that elliptic curve digital signature algorithms commonly used in blockchain may also become one of the systems most early threatened by quantum computing.
