#我的Gate交易时刻

My first experience investing in US stocks on Gate

At 7:56 AM, I opened Gate’s US stock trading interface, and the $54.51 USD in my account was quietly sitting there. The position’s market value was $28.02 USD, with an overall profit and loss of -$1.6 USD, and today I lost another $0.57 USD — it seems the “tuition” for a beginner is quietly being paid.

Currently holding 4 US stocks (partial screenshot): Nvidia (NVDA) bought 0.05 shares, cost $212.97 USD, latest price $204.66 USD, position loss of -$0.41, and a loss of $0.13 today; BlackBerry (BB) 1 share, cost $8.99, current price $8.83, position loss of -$0.16, and a loss of $0.34 today; Snowflake (SNOW) 0.03 shares, market value $7.03, loss of $0.11 today… each stock’s profit and loss figures remind me: US stocks are quite volatile.

Starting from scratch, exploring Gate’s trading logic—watching the market, setting positions, monitoring gains and losses—there’s curiosity about tech stocks (like Nvidia), and also watching the “legacy transformation stocks” like BlackBerry. Although the account is currently floating in loss, every trade is a learning experience — understanding US stock rules, analyzing company value, managing position risk.

Perhaps, the meaning of investing isn’t just about quick profits, but about accumulating understanding through ups and downs. On my first stop buying US stocks on Gate, I continue to observe the stories behind these codes with caution and anticipation.
