$GT Beyond platform business expansion, GT's continuous burning mechanism remains an important part of its long-term value. According to data released by Gate, approximately 2.5577 million GT were burned in the first quarter of 2026, worth over $20 million, with the total burned amount exceeding 60% of the initial supply. Continuously reducing circulating supply is also one of the key reasons why GT has outperformed some platform tokens over the past few years. For platform tokens, supply changes and demand growth often jointly determine long-term value. On one hand, a multi-asset strategy is expected to bring new users and trading demand; on the other hand, the ongoing burning mechanism continuously decreases market circulation supply. Although short-term prices will still be affected by market cycles, in the long run, changes in supply and demand structure remain an important factor supporting GT's value.

What new possibilities will Gate Layer and the AI ecosystem bring? Besides trading activities, Gate has been continuously advancing on-chain ecosystem development in recent years. This includes Gate Layer, Perp DEX, and AI-related businesses, all of which are important future strategic directions for the platform. As AI Agents and on-chain automation gradually become new growth areas in the industry, more platforms are beginning to try building more open ecosystem systems. Although these businesses have limited short-term impact on GT's price, in the long term, ecosystem expansion means more application scenarios and value capture capabilities.
In the past, platform tokens relied more on trading activities, but in the future, the value sources of platform tokens may become more diversified. If on-chain ecosystems continue to develop and generate new user growth and application demand, GT's valuation logic could also be further upgraded.
