Golden Finance reports that on June 17, according to the Qichacha APP, Hangzhou DeepSeek Artificial Intelligence Basic Technology Research Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as DeepSeek) has received Series A funding, with the total financing amount of approximately 51 billion yuan and an enterprise valuation of about 400 billion yuan. In addition to venture capital firms, internet giants Tencent, JD.com, and NetEase, as well as CATL, a leader in new energy, also appear on the list of investors.

According to China Fund News, in DeepSeek’s Series A funding: founder Liang Wenfeng may have contributed approximately 20 billion yuan, making him the largest single investor in this round. Tencent invested approximately 10 billion yuan; CATL’s ecosystem invested approximately 5 billion yuan, including CATL and Puhui Capital; NetEase, JD.com, Monolith Lisi Capital, and IDG Capital each invested approximately 3 billion yuan; Zhengxinggu Investment and Shixiang Technology each invested approximately 1.5 billion yuan, and the National Artificial Intelligence Industry Investment Fund invested approximately 980 million yuan.
