See if you often get caught in this kind of shady project team's scripted scams
The script is always the same, but people keep buying tickets for each show:
Step 1: Build a community. TG group with 5,000 people, 300 are bots, the remaining 4,700 are just here to watch the show. "Made a fortune" "Added to the position" "This project team is so honest" — all colleagues.
Step 2: Fake pump and dump. Pump 5 times in the first 20 minutes. The project team sells with the left hand and buys with the right, making the trading volume and candlestick charts all fake. The "strong upward surge" you see is just two insiders trading back and forth.
The data looks great, it keeps rising without any real reason, but as soon as a big order comes in, it crashes or even drops to zero.
Step 3: Drain the liquidity pool. Everything seems normal — until the liquidity suddenly disappears. Didn't the project team say they "locked the liquidity pool"? They locked 99%, but left a function that can move the remaining 1% without telling you.
