Wu said that Ionic Digital released an unverified mining and operations update for May 2026, mining 24.77 BTC in May, a month-on-month increase of 21.1%; the average daily hash rate was 1.74 EH/s, a month-on-month increase of 15.3%, mainly driven by improved production and operational performance at the Midland mining farm. Ionic Digital stated that the company continues to maintain a zero-debt status, and did not sell any BTC in May. As of May 31, 2026, the company held 2,861.0 BTC, an increase of approximately 24.0 BTC from the previous month; the number of active mining machines was 24,999.
