🛑 US–IRAN MOU: MAJOR RED FLAGS!
According to the ISW report, there are major gaps between the public statements and the reported terms of the MoU:
↳ Hormuz:
US → Long-term toll-free access
Iran → Fees after 60 days
↳ Lebanon:
US → Separate from the deal
Iran → Attacks on Hezbollah break the deal
↳ Nuclear Program:
US → No nuclear weapons ever
Iran → No concessions
↳ Funds & Sanctions:
US → Conditional relief
Iran → Immediate release
↳ $300B Fund:
Iran → Reconstruction support
US → Fake news, zero investment
The official MoU has still not been released by either side.
Peace may exist on paper, but both sides appear to be operating on completely different tracks.
