Mars Finance reports that, according to a long article in The New Yorker, FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried (34 years old) is currently serving time in Lompoc Federal Prison in California, taking Adderall and Emsam daily due to clinical depression and ADHD. SBF continues to write a serialized memoir titled "Manfred," which he sends to a few friends and family through the prison mail system. He refuses to eat in the cafeteria due to his vegetarianism, instead purchasing ingredients from the commissary to prepare his own meals and has even written a "Vegetarian Prison Cookbook." SBF spent about $135 on a prison tablet and has played the same game approximately 6,000 times. According to fellow inmate David Bunevacz, SBF once said that after release, he would need $50 million to $100 million in startup capital to establish a business, and claimed he would "issue his own new token, and everyone would flock to it," though Bunevacz added that "he might have been joking." SBF officially submitted a presidential pardon application on June 8, and his appeal was rejected on June 12. His pardon probability on Polymarket is approximately 14%.
