The suspension disaster enrages the anti-indicator goddess! Bani Nini’s reverse buying of Meta stock—netizens cheer: Finally brought down divine punishment

Due to recent large-scale mistaken account suspensions on the Meta platform, Taiwan's "Anti-Indicator Goddess" Ba Ni Ni announced her purchase of Meta stocks as a silent protest. The Communications Department has already intervened and requested an official explanation.

Ba Ni Ni buys Meta stocks to protest suspension disasters disturbing the public

In recent days, Meta's social platforms Threads, Instagram, and others have experienced massive suspension incidents, and Ba Ni Ni, known as the "Anti-Indicator Goddess" by Taiwanese investors, posted yesterday (6/16) announcing her purchase of Meta stocks, stating this as her biggest silent protest against Meta, and sharply criticizing: "Meta is truly a company that makes money from connecting people, but has never treated people as human."

After Ba Ni Ni's post, Meta's stock price opened sharply up to 605.32 points yesterday before falling back, dropping to a low of 592.62 points, but ultimately closed with a 1.13% gain.

Earlier today, Ba Ni Ni also shared her experience of being unjustly suspended by Meta. Last year, six of her accounts were suspended, and this year she was again inexplicably deemed to have violated rules, even losing her fan page recommendation privileges.

These account bans have caused her PTSD, making her afraid of account suspension every day, and she expressed frustration with Meta's platform mechanisms, saying that even having the blue checkmark is useless, and customer service has no authority to unban accounts.

She pointed out that the public can only patiently file appeals when their accounts are banned, praying that the official review will be quick, and called for ways to operate multiple platforms.

Netizens rally together, hoping for Taiwan's mysterious power to sanction

After Ba Ni Ni announced her purchase, many netizens responded.

Some said that during this wave of Meta account bans, some filed lawsuits, wrote protest letters, or stopped their monthly payments, but the most aggressive was the goddess Ba Ni Ni, who expressed her anger by buying Meta stocks, joking that she is lighting incense for CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s assets.

Other netizens commented: "It’s still Ba Ni Ni," "The goddess acts, either death or injury," and said "The goddess has taken justice into her own hands."

Some also joked that Meta can finally experience Taiwan’s mysterious power, exclaiming that it’s about time to "bring down divine punishment" on Zuckerberg, and humorously said "a bag of rice should carry several floors" (Japanese pun for 'feel the pain'). Some even proposed crowdfunding to support Ba Ni Ni in buying more stocks until Meta’s stock price drops to the point of bleeding.

Mass suspension incidents cause outrage, Communications Department demands explanation

The suspension disasters at Meta mainly occurred between June 14 and 15, affecting major media such as Public Television News Network, as well as figures like former President Chen Shui-bian, Taiwan People's Party Chair Ko Wen-je, and influencer Director Chen Zhi-han. Looking back to June 2025, Meta also experienced mistaken account lockouts, with several Taiwanese crypto influencer accounts being banned at that time.

Meta officially responded that the recent wave of mistaken bans was caused by an error in their technology designed to detect teenage accounts, leading to multiple accounts being mistakenly judged as under 13 years old. The issue is currently being fixed, and they emphasized that no specific individuals are targeted.

The Taiwan Communications Department received complaints and proactively contacted Meta Taiwan, stating they will monitor the investigation progress, request Meta to communicate and explain to the public, and actively handle the situation to protect citizens' rights.
