TSMC's production capacity is running out, and Samsung's contract manufacturing demand is booming

Mars Finance News, June 17 News—According to reports citing insiders, due to demand for artificial intelligence infrastructure far exceeding TSMC’s advanced chip manufacturing capacity, Samsung Electronics is receiving an increasing number of chip foundry outsourcing orders from more and more global customers such as Google, AMD, and Tesla. According to the latest financial report, Samsung’s foundry and system LSI business generated total revenue of 6.9 trillion Korean won (approximately 307.74 billion RMB) in the first quarter, representing a year-over-year increase of about 15%.
