Native Token Rebrand Approved: Toncoin (TON) Becomes Gram (GRAM)
The community vote on TON Vote has officially concluded, with 81.22% of participants supporting the proposal to rename the native token of The Open Network from Toncoin (TON) to Gram (GRAM).
📅 The change takes effect on June 15, 2026, at 12:00 UTC.
🔹 The blockchain remains The Open Network (TON)
🔹 Only the token’s name, ticker, and logo will change
🔹 No token swap, migration, bridge, or claim process is required
🔹 Wallet balances, addresses, smart contracts, NFTs, staking positions, and DeFi activity remain unchanged
The vote ran from June 1–8, 2026, and ecosystem participants, including exchanges and applications, are expected to implement the update simultaneously on June 15.
📌 Full ecosystem-wide consistency is anticipated by June 22, 2026.
