Duan Yongping comments on SpaceX: If it can earn $150 billion annually, a $3 trillion valuation is not unreasonable
BlockBeats News, June 17 — Well-known investor Duan Yongping posted on Snowball stating that after recently reviewing SpaceX's history, he has gained a better understanding of the market's overvaluation and believes that the company may not necessarily fall into the "bubble" category.
He pointed out that if SpaceX can achieve an annual profit of around $150 billion in the future, then a market value of approximately $3 trillion is not unreasonable, and he believes that over a 5–10 year horizon, this level of profitability "seems possible."
However, he also emphasized that this judgment still largely depends on whether SpaceX can truly maintain this level of profit stably over the long term. Looking back at the company's development history, he is "very impressed" with its technology and business model capabilities, and remains open to its long-term growth potential.
