The Russian air defense systems shot down 12 guided air bombs, 2 "Flamingo" missiles, and 491 fixed-wing drones. Additionally, Russian forces took control of a settlement in the Donetsk region. The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported on the 16th that there were 228 battles on the front lines over the past day. Ukrainian forces shot down 2,062 Russian drones. The report also stated that Ukrainian forces launched long-range strikes against Russian targets such as the Moscow refinery and the Tula Instrument Design Bureau on that day.
