SpaceX went public and, in just 5 days, it threw out a blockbuster worth $60 billion. This all-stock acquisition of Cursor is, in essence, Musk buying the most core productivity tools for SpaceX’s AI closed-loop.



By the third quarter of 2026, when it lands, Cursor will be connected to the SpaceX ecosystem as a wholly owned subsidiary. The original shareholders will receive not cash, but exchange shares directly tied to Class A shares.
