According to Foresight News, the Digital Renminbi International Operations Center recently signed service agreements with 26 financial institutions in Shanghai, including Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of China, China Construction Bank, Bank of Communications, Standard Chartered Bank, China Minsheng Bank, Industrial Bank, China Merchants Bank, and others, as well as branches covering Asia and other regions. This initiative will support cross-border digital payment services in Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Laos, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Brazil. Participants can utilize the infrastructure of the Cross-Border Electronic Payment System (CBETS) to provide cost-effective and secure cross-border payment services to facilitate trade and investment.
