Customer service work is definitely not easy 🌚

Because in college, I served as Taobao customer service for 3 years 🌚
At a women’s shoes store, back then, the 7-day no-reason return policy was not yet a required option.
A customer bought a pair, and a month later—wearing them, they were all grimy—she ran over and said: the shoes were too big, made her trip and fall; if I didn’t process a return, she would jump off the building 🤡
There was also a promotion to give out colorful shoelaces, but customers had to place an order. Back then, it was also set up just to boost sales and drive fake transactions.
Customer: I didn’t take the photo, but I still hope to receive it. If I don’t get it, I’ll leave a bad review 🤡
There are also some people who are just extremely bored—when they’re in a bad mood, they don’t buy anything and simply open the chat box to curse you a few times 🤡
After 3 years, I learned how to type without changing my facial expression: “Oh dear, I’m so sorry—sorry to have caused you trouble. Don’t worry, I’ll help you handle it right away.” 🤡
Even when you’re being scolded, you can’t say you’re wronged, because that’s literally the job.
So I can only viciously rant at 800 people in a single day with my best friend.
There’s no way to be a sane customer service agent 🤡
