The big players are dumping contracts, and the high funding rates cause perpetual contract longs to keep closing, triggering a chain reaction. Currently, 80% of retail investors are long. If you were the big player, would you let the contracts increase? Continuing to push the contracts and supporting the spot price is the most optimal solution for the big players.
