Semgrep former Head of Security Research Clint Gibler joins OpenAI to lead cybersecurity
CoinWorld reports that former security chief of Semgrep, Clint Gibler, has joined OpenAI to co-lead cybersecurity efforts with Michael Aiello. AI will reshape software development and protection, with programming intelligent agents shortening delivery cycles, but the speed of vulnerability discovery and exploitation is also increasing. Defenders need to systematically eliminate vulnerabilities through automated security coding and simplified detection.
