Okay, I have to be honest with you guys – I DIDN'T get on this rocket. Yet.
1️⃣ Did I participate? No. Gate's SpaceX IPO subscription minimum was $100, and as a student my portfolio this month is literally "ramen budget." I watched the subscription button like it was a launch countdown, but my wallet said "maybe next mission." 😅
That doesn't mean I'm not obsessed though. I've been following the S-1 since it dropped on May 21. $250 BILLION in orders for a $75B target? That's 3.3x oversubscribed. Reuters wasn't kidding – this is already bigger than Aramco.
2️⃣ My price guess? I'm thinking final pricing lands at $185–$195 per share.
Why? SpaceX is targeting a $1.75T valuation. If they float ∼4.3% (75B / 1.75T), and they want that "first trillionaire" headline for Elon, they won't price it too cheap. But they also need room for a pop on Nasdaq. My student-brain math says $190 feels like the sweet spot – not the $220 some whales are whispering, but not a discount either.
What I love about Gate here: 3 years ago I was learning what BTC was on Gate Square, now I'm debating a space company's IPO pricing on the same app. From crypto to stocks, it's the same feeling – being on a solid ship while everything moves fast.
I couldn't place an order, but I placed my conviction. If SPCX opens at $190, I'm watching that first candle like it's a Falcon 9 landing.
