According to the Financial Times of the UK, in the new round of clashes between the US and Iran, the US conducted airstrikes on two water storage facilities in Hormuzgan Province, cutting off water to approximately 20k residents of Kuhestak City and Beman District. Previously, Iran shot down a US military helicopter in the Strait of Hormuz, and the US launched nighttime strikes on targets in southern Iran, claiming to have hit air defense systems, ground command, and radar with precision-guided munitions as a proportional response. Officials from Hormuzgan Province stated that two water tanks with a total capacity of 2,500 cubic meters were destroyed, affecting water supply to 10 villages.
