According to banking sources, the Central Bank of Turkey purchased 4.5 billion US dollars in foreign exchange last week. Total reserves increased by 1 billion US dollars to 160 billion US dollars, while net reserves rose by 1.5 billion US dollars to 47.5 billion US dollars.
