Wu says he learned from edgeX’s Twitter post that the first batch of USDC goodwill compensation for eligible users affected by the June 2 incident has been completed. The compensation is for users who, between 04:50 and 06:00 (UTC+8) on June 2, 2026, had their EDGE long positions on edgeX Perp V1 or V2 liquidated or had their stop-loss triggered, resulting in realized losses, and who have submitted Discord tickets. Each user’s compensation has an upper limit of the equivalent of 100,000 USDC, with 50% paid in USDC, and the remaining 50% to be paid in EDGE tokens in the first week of April 2027.
