Recently, I’ve seen a bunch of people linking ETF capital flows, U.S. stock market risk appetite, and cryptocurrency price movements all together in their analysis, and the more I read, the more overwhelmed I get… Then I remembered something more practical: don’t let me break down on the spot when it’s time to file taxes at the end of the year. Honestly, you really need to keep your trading records regularly, or else when you go back through group messages or screenshots later, it’s like archaeology.

I’m pretty old-fashioned now: every time I deposit or withdraw funds, exchange currencies, or transfer on-chain, I casually paste the order number/tx hash into a spreadsheet, and upload screenshots to the cloud drive, organized into folders by month. Even with good tools, I first need to verify them; I focused on those that can sync automatically, but then I found a bunch of permissions needed and data still didn’t match… Forget it, I just unfollowed those tools, I’d rather remember two more transactions myself. Don’t worry, I’ll wait until everything is confirmed.
