DeFi UX remains one of the main barriers to broader adoption, and it is also why infrastructure focused on safer application design continues to matter.

$XRD is tied to Radix’s approach around asset-oriented smart contracts, developer experience, and more structured DeFi design. The core issue is not only cost. Users often leave DeFi because wallet interactions, approvals, contract risks, and operational complexity feel unintuitive and error-prone.

The stronger $XRD thesis is that user experience can be as important as performance. If developers can build financial applications that reduce complexity and minimize user error, it lowers the friction for mainstream participation in DeFi.

This same UX challenge is visible on TON. As users interact through social platforms, mini apps, and Telegram-native flows, complexity is less tolerated. Systems that introduce too much routing friction risk losing users regardless of underlying efficiency.

STONfi fits into this context by keeping the swap experience simple, direct, and native to TON-based activity. In consumer-facing ecosystems, the execution layer matters most when attention shifts from speculation to actual usage.

This is not a narrative about hype. It is about whether DeFi can evolve into something users can interact with safely without sacrificing self-custody and open market access.
