Today I’ve been practicing cross-chain bridges again… to be blunt, every time I click “Confirm,” it feels like I’m signing a life-or-death waiver. I just realized that all the bridge stuff—multi-signatures, oracles, and whatnot—sounds high-end, but in reality it’s just: if something goes wrong, will someone—or some mechanism—be able to cover it. And that “waiting for confirmation” isn’t the platform stalling; it’s genuinely waiting for the chain to finalize it. The more you rush, the easier it is to step into a trap.

Recently, there’s been a major upgrade/maintenance on a mainstream chain, right? Everyone in the group is speculating whether ecosystem projects will migrate. I’m watching the show while my hands shake: during times like this, when bridge traffic gets jammed and messages get messy, it’s easiest to run into those kinds of funny yet infuriating accidents… Anyway, I’ll keep my small position and take it slow—if I can give fewer approvals, I’ll give fewer.
