Over the past couple of days, I’ve been seeing a bunch of “on-chain arbitrage opportunities.” You click in and take a look—how should I put it… you think you’re just picking up money, but you might actually be paying a little tip for someone else’s sandwich. Especially the kind where you just placed an order and the price slips away by a tiny amount—feels like someone’s reaching over and grabbing a bite of meat right off your plate.
My mindset right now is this: I treat complexity as the enemy. If I can’t understand the path, or I don’t get where the profit comes from, I just assume it doesn’t exist. I’d rather make less than be someone else’s liquidity sucker.
By the way, the community arguing about privacy coins/mixers/compliance is like a family feud… to put it bluntly, the more they argue, the more it shows how blurry the “boundaries” are. Sometimes arbitrage and doing harm are only separated by a button. Anyway, I’ll do my best to use limit orders, chase fewer hot pools, and move a bit slower. That’s it for now.
