This morning on the subway, I was checking on-chain data again and saw a bunch of "cutting in line" transactions. To put it simply, MEV sort order advantages—what's most frustrating isn't really the big players, but small investors like me who are practicing placing limit orders: you think you're slowly changing your inventory in the order book, but someone else snatches the price difference in front of you, and you end up trading at a "modified" price. The curve suddenly becomes uneven, and it's easy to get impatient.

What's even more awkward is that you can't really fight back against it; increasing the transaction fee isn't realistic... You can only accept that you're playing a game of cat and mouse with the rules. Recently, there's been talk about certain regions imposing taxes and tightening compliance, right? I found that whenever such news comes out, people's deposit and withdrawal expectations change, on-chain congestion worsens, front-running gets more aggressive, and the user experience deteriorates. Anyway, I’m now trying to reduce the size of each order and widen the gap between my limit orders—better to eat less than to be washed back and forth. That’s all for now.
