I now have only one standard for "wallet solutions": don't shoot yourself in the foot. When assets are still small, using a hardware wallet is quite sufficient, offline signing gives peace of mind; when dealing with larger transactions or wanting to avoid a small mistake wiping everything out, multi-signature feels more like insurance, but the maintenance cost is also really annoying, and you have to think about who can sign together when going out. I've also tried social recovery, honestly it's suitable for people afraid of losing their seed phrase, but you have to trust those "rescue contacts," otherwise it's just renaming the risk.

Recently, I’ve seen on-chain data tools and label systems being criticized for lagging behind and possibly misleading, so I’m even less willing to rely on "seeing others' labels" for security. In critical moments, I still stick to my own methods: check pool depth, watch slippage, observe large transfer rhythms. Anyway, I treat complexity as an enemy; if it can be simple, then keep it simple—safety first.
