Recently, people have been talking about data availability, ordering, finality—so many terms that it can get overwhelming... I’ve set a main thread for myself: do you think a transaction that has "already happened" really count as being finalized? Data must be visible to others (otherwise, there’s no evidence for review if something goes wrong), ordering shouldn’t be too chaotic (or you’ll always be cut in line), finality needs to be reliable (or today’s funds might arrive and be gone tomorrow). Cross-chain bridge hacks, to put it simply, often mean that what you think is "finalized" is actually still in mid-air; after oracle anomalies, everyone collectively "waits for confirmation," which is quite realistic—better to be slow than to get caught by a sudden price error. Anyway, I’ve lowered my expectations now, not chasing those seemingly lucrative stacking yields, keeping smaller positions and fewer steps, which makes it easier.
