Crypto World News reports that the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) issued a statement on the 5th saying that its leadership delegation arrived in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, today, and will discuss the implementation of a ceasefire in Gaza with mediators starting from the 6th. The statement said that the delegation is led by Hamas senior official Khalil Haya. The talks are expected to last several days, during which the delegation will meet with Egyptian officials and relevant mediators to effectively implement the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement, stop Israel's ongoing attacks on Gaza, and establish appropriate mechanisms for entering the second phase of the ceasefire. The statement also said that the delegation will meet with some Palestinian factions and political forces to present a unified national stance on multiple issues and reach a consensus on how to respond to the challenges faced by the Palestinian people.
