The economy of this blockchain game is starting to get a bit overwhelming: at first, the pool looked really fat—production was so fierce it felt like it was basically free, and it really was free money—because inflation first bores through and kills itself. Once the studio comes in, it happens even faster: everyone’s “on the job,” not playing. Selling pressure gets stacked up layer by layer—once the coin price softens, the rewards have to be increased, increased again… and then even more inflation follows, and the spiral starts turning. To put it simply, the output isn’t tightly tied to real consumption, and the pool will eventually be drained. What I fear most isn’t just losing money—it’s watching a whole mechanism go from “looks like it can run” to “the same familiar crash smell”… Anyway, whenever I see high output now, I get itchy and start wanting to sell.
