After reading Zhang Xiaolong’s apology letter, you’ll know why he got blasted.

In the School of Philosophy, students normally read Kant and Hegel—yet at the scene, they heard a practical philosophy lecture on “Financial Freedom Is the Ultimate Freedom.” How could anyone accept that, bro?
Even more wild: Zhang Xiaolong is the CEO of Chalk Technology, a public-exam tutoring company. You read that right—it’s in the public-exam industry. And look at his apology letter: it’s a classic “I know I was wrong, but I really did make money.” His emotional intelligence is basically at zero.
But it also hits the nerve of today’s social values system: if you’ve made money, you’re awesome.
