This morning's rain caused some traffic jams, and the coffee also cooled down... I casually looked into cross-chain stuff, and IBC/message passing sounds very "automatic," but honestly, every time you do a cross-chain transfer, you're still gambling: whether both chains don't go down, whether the lightweight client/validation rules don't break, whether the relayer doesn't slack off, and most importantly, whether you accept the other chain's consensus and finality. Bridges are even more straightforward; many are actually just "hosting somewhere else," and any link—validators, multi-signatures, oracles, even front-end signing processes—any weak point can cause issues. Recently, everyone is watching the unlock calendar daily, fearing sell pressure, but I tend to pay more attention to cross-chain inflows and outflows and message failure rates. When emotions are high, those on-chain "hiccups" are the easiest to overlook. That's it for now; I’ll align the data later.
