Recently, when I look at on-chain data, it keeps getting “stuck for a moment.” A lot of people’s first instinct is to blame the project team for running away or faking it—so funny. The truth is, quite often it’s just the indexer chasing blocks, the Subgraph still hasn’t finished syncing, or the RPC you’re using is being rate-limited—so the interface sends you a “half-behind” world that’s a beat slow. What you’re seeing isn’t “the truth”; it’s the emotions of a cache and a queue.

More ridiculous still: everyone compares on-chain yield products using RWA and US Treasury bond yields, talking like actuaries—then turns around and checks data themselves, relying entirely on free nodes… Anyway, for now I’m not going to curse at the latency. I’ll just switch RPCs, wait two minutes, and check again.

What I fear most isn’t losing money—it’s being driven by impulsive moves based on this kind of half-baked data full of emotion, and then afterwards thinking I’ve figured out the market. For now, that’s it.
