Right now, I’m basically staying on Layer 2 for everyday small transactions. Only when I need to move a larger amount, or when the actions are more directly related to money, do I go back to the mainnet… It’s not really about saving that little bit of gas fees; it’s mainly to avoid hassle, so my mindset stays more steady.

To put it simply, the L2 experience really is convenient—transfers and swaps are basically just a couple of taps and you’re done. But the moment I run into cross-chain/bridging, I slow down. I’d rather take a closer look at the address first, then wait a bit longer for confirmation. Mainnet gas is expensive, sure, but that feeling of “only this once—don’t mess it up” actually makes me more cautious.

Recently, aren’t there a lot of new L1/L2 projects rolling out incentives to pull in TVL? I can understand why the old users in the group complain about “mining, farming, selling”… When things get lively, I actually want to cool it down more. And I’m not good enough at the kind of quick hands needed for farming rewards—I’ll just choose positions I can manage comfortably, use them slowly, and that’s it for now.
