I got the itch again and went to play a blockchain game’s pool. Basically, it’s just “earning a bit of coins every day—looks pretty good.” I even added more, feeling confident that this time I wouldn’t call for “more” and it would be fine… Later, I realized the output was like opening the floodgates—once inflation kicked in, the coin price just slumped. People in the pool were still competing for even higher yields, and in the end, everyone together drained the pool, leaving nothing but a heap of fees and frustration. Now hardware wallets are out of stock, and phishing links are flying around everywhere. Anyway, I’m going to revoke all authorizations first. As for any “official” links someone posts in the group, I won’t click them—losing money is one thing, but don’t let myself get stolen from again. That’s just too embarrassing.
