Recently thinking about how to profit from the US stock market

At first, I was actually quite anxious
Because looking at US stocks, it's easy to fall into a question I can't solve:
"Where should Nvidia's price reach?"
"Is Google really cheap?"
"Can Tesla keep telling stories?"
"Is there still room for the AI main theme?"
Of course, these questions are important
But I found that, for me,
The first step might not be to forcibly understand the long-term endgame of all the industry leaders in the US stock market
More importantly, to first figure out:
What am I really making money from in the crypto world?
Who are the beneficiaries of the profits?
Which of these profit methods can be transferred to the US stock market?
After breaking it down, I became much clearer:
1️⃣ Spot trading based on cycles
Let's not consider this for now
Because I haven't made much money from it myself
And I still have some positions that are trapped
Since it hasn't been validated,
It shouldn't be considered a transferable skill
2️⃣ New coin trading
I’ve shared related thoughts before
New coin trading is not simply about PVP with retail investors
The core is that project teams, to maintain their asset shells, meet expectations, fundraise narratives, and secondary liquidity, are willing to release price space to the market at certain stages
This logic is very obvious in the crypto world
But transferring it to the US stock market would distort it a lot
Of course, there are shell stocks, concept stocks, low float stocks, M&A expectations, but regulation, information disclosure, and market-making structures are all different
So, this new coin trading approach
is not very suitable as my main entry point into the US stock market
3️⃣ Whale coin trading
Actually, there's even less need to transfer this
The speculative structure of small-cap stocks in the crypto world is dirtier, but also easier to observe
On-chain data, order books, announcements, exchanges, funding rates, KOL rhythms, project team actions—many things leave traces
If I can understand this in the crypto world, the profit space is quite large
There's no need to transfer just for the sake of transferring
4️⃣ News trading
This is actually the most suitable part to transfer
The essence of news trading is:
Trust the sell, then trust the buy
The market re-prices in a short period, with early responders eating the liquidity provided by late responders
This approach works in the crypto world, and it also works in the US stock market
The difference is, US stocks have better liquidity, more concentrated targets, and stronger support
Of course, this doesn't mean news trading in the US stock market is easier.
Participants are more mature, reactions are faster, and pre-market and after-hours volatility is more complex
Often, by the time you see the news, the first paragraph has already played out
But at least this framework is consistent with what I’ve trained in the crypto world
I don’t need to understand the long-term valuation of all the industry leaders right from the start
Nor do I need to force myself to chase high positions in the leaders
Because chasing leaders with large positions—
I wouldn’t dare in the crypto world, and I wouldn’t dare in the US stock market either
It’s not a market issue, it’s a capability circle issue
After thinking it through, my anxiety has decreased a lot
I don’t have to immediately understand the US stock market
Nor do I have to become a value investor in the US stock market right away
For me, the most suitable entry point for the US stock market at this stage is
Probably not long-term allocation, nor chasing the endgame of leaders,
but news-driven single-stock trading
Hot topics, events, attention, liquidity—
These things I’ve already trained repeatedly in the crypto world
The crypto world is essentially an extreme speculative training ground
If I can understand the opponent’s moves, capital attention, and short-term liquidity, then moving to the US stock market is at least not starting completely from scratch
Later, my attitude towards the US stock market will probably be simpler:
Don’t forcibly trade without an advantage
Just because others chase leaders, I won’t chase leaders either
I wouldn’t dare in the crypto world, and I wouldn’t dare in the US stock market either
Start with the profit structure I can understand
Focus on news, hot topics, single stocks
Apply the trading frameworks already validated in the crypto world
In a more liquid market, continue to validate
This might be the most reasonable entry point for me to participate in the US stock market now to profit
