Just now my phone popped up a red dot again: “Last 24 hours to interact and claim the airdrop.” I almost slipped and tapped into it… Then I thought about it—anyway, for my account it’s one simple rule: don’t rush; wait for confirmation. A lot of projects are now comparing “on-chain returns” with RWA and U.S. Treasury yields, and it sounds pretty tempting, but what I’m more worried about is getting counter-scammed first: you sign a bunch of permissions, your wallet suddenly has unknown authorizations, and the airdrop never even shows up before the funds get pulled away. My approach is pretty old-fashioned: don’t chase pop-ups, don’t open new windows so it doesn’t connect; interactions only use a small account with a limit, and you delete the authorizations right after you’re done. If I really want to jump in, I’ll wait until a few people have complained/verified first. FOMO… just resist it and it’ll pass—cats know it too.
