These past couple of days, I’ve been a bit restless again—whenever I see the market heat up, I want to add to my position. Then I force myself to stop and ask: what new information have I actually received, or am I just being pushed around by my emotions? To put it simply, if it’s real information, it should be able to explain the source, the chain of impact, and the conditions under which it becomes invalid; if it can’t be explained clearly, it’s probably just FOMO.

Recently, in some places, taxes are being adjusted and compliance rules are tightening for a while and then loosening again, and the expectations around deposits and withdrawals are being twisted around. Emotions are especially easy to get pulled into someone else’s rhythm. I need to be reminded: positions aren’t for proving that you “kept up”—they’re for staying alive. First, trim out scams and noise. What you can do, do it in batches and set limits; the rest is for time to handle.
